Vulture Mine Ghosttown

Old piano at the Vulture Mine

Where have the last few weeks gone? The time has been filled with work, family, friends, more work, no sleep, and crazy living. Its been hard to find the time or energy to blog lately. The Holiday season is upon us. Classes are in full swing. I just got back from a great weekend in Payson. I taught a full day of classes at "Paper and Metal Scrappers" in Payson.
Barbara and Brenda are fantastic! I will share a few photos and more tonight.
I also teach a class tonight at Mystic Paper .
A technique class covering Alcohol Ink.
If you are in the neighborhood drop on in and say "Hello"!

Here are a few photos I was able to print out this morning.
From a recent day trip.
My siblings and I -kidnapped my mom for a day.
We took her on an old west and desert adventure for her birthday.
My mom is pure Rock N Roll!
One of the places we stopped at was the Vulture Mine and ghost town.
Its located near Wickenberg, Az.
Well worth the trip.
The place is haunted as well.
Share more on that later.
My brother wants to go back and camp out in the next weekend or two.
Do a mini ghost hunt and photo shoot. Never know...
Enjoy the pics -talk more later.

Hi,
I don't know that I believe in ghosts, but I have felt the presence of something, perhaps the essence of long ago people, in very old deserted buildings. Let us know if you have a revelatory experience.
And thanks for the great egg and nest pics.

Great photos! I myself have been unmotivated to blog, just so crazy busy. But it is always a pleasure to see one of your posts!

Take care, I really want to take one of your technique classes, just have to find the time!

wow. sooo cool.
chairs with no seats..gives one such an odd feeling.
I love the old sewing machine...
And the rocking chair struck a chord in my heart: how many babies were soothed to sleep in that old rocking chair?...Mothers and babies, all long gone.
