One week a way from another October month.
October always holds high hopes for me.
Ever since I was a kid.
I have a Halloween filled heart.

Sweet Salvage on 7th Ave.

I crave pumpkin patches, crisp air, corn mazes,
pumpkin ale with cinnamon, outdoor festivals, long nights,
ghosts stories, haunted houses and spooky decor.
Just a few of my favorite things...

October is also the month I met Lesley.
The month we fell in love.

I have two brothers who also fell in love
and married in this month.

Every year it is filled with something new.
We expect this year to be no different.

I find that living in Arizona as an artist you sometimes go into hiding
or retreat mode in the summer.
The heat can make you shut down.

We spend our summers creating personal journals and sketching ideas.
Then in the fall we attempt to bring those ideas to fullness.

We have great plans this holiday season.
Also a few exciting announcements coming soon.

As an artist its important to take inventory of
your achievements and look back at your work.

Look at how you have developed your skills, techniques and storytelling.
In order to know where you are headed
you need to look back at where you have been.

Then create your new road map for artistic possibilities.

The first day of Fall was last Friday.
We are glad to have the summer behind us..

Happy Fall 2011 everyone!
